Sapphic Nights Boston
What is Sapphic Nights Boston?
Sapphic Nights Boston is an iconic event that was created by two queer women who wanted to make a safe, inclusive LGBTQ party in Boston, where queer women, non-binary and trans folks can be themselves and party like never before!
What music do we play?
Our incredible DJs play Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, DemBow, AfroBeats (and more)
What does “Sapphic” Mean?
Both the words "sapphic" and "lesbian" come from a similar origin. They originate from the Greek poet Sappho of Lesbos Island, famously known in the LGBTQ+ community for her writings of love and desire for women. Generally, "sapphic" is an umbrella term that can resonate with lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals, as well as trans and nonbinary folks. That is why our party is called "Sapphic Nights Boston".
Our History
The first Sapphic Nights Boston was hosted in 2021 and has graced many venues over the years, including incredible spots like the House of Blues and even the Sir Winston yacht.
Starting with just 100 attendees, in less than 2 years, we witnessed its growth into a 2200-person party. We're incredibly proud and happy to announce that Sapphic Nights Boston now has a permanent home at Dani’s Queer Bar, a lesbian bar created by and for the people in the sapphic community.
